Altima VII is a go!

Welcome to Altima VII, breeder, engineer, and/or biochemist. I'm Nicholas Manuel, AKA felinorn.

Adventures in Altima VII is a Creatures 3/ Docking Station blog dedicated to the observation, analysis, and documentation of the Norns of Altima VII, a Docked World with Creatures 1 Enabled.

This project follows the same mold from Jessica's Discover Albia Blog, but with the intent to populate the Ark to beyond 256 norns.

Before I begin, does anyone know how to disable the population limit in C3/DS?

In response to Jessica's comment I'm adding some twists and turns to this experiment.:

Ok, since too many norns can bloat the game, it's time for a different approach, set the population cap to 5 and hatch four females, and one alpha male, set the population cap to 1, and with the Eggonicer, immediately put the eggs in cold storage as they are laid. I tally the number of eggs laid by which female, with the alpha female having infinite litters, and use Danikat's IQ Test to determine the next alphas.

Facepalm UPDATE: So the breeding limit only controls natural births? in that case set it to 0. I must also set the extra eggs variable to about 100.
